Location: Desert Palace Hotel & Casino Resort, Upington, Northern Cape.

Distances and Starting Times:

42.2km Marathon: Starts at 05h30
21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 05h30
10km Race: Starts at 05h30
5km Fun Run: Starts at 05h30

Entry Fees:

42.2km Marathon: R250
21.1km Half-Marathon: R200
10km Race: R150
5km Fun Run: R75

Race Day Information:

Start and Finish: All distances will start and finish at Desert Palace Hotel & Casino Resort.
Handouts: Medals to all participants.
Route: The relatively flat routes take runners along the banks of the Orange River and through magnificent vineyards and pecan orchards. The early start means that runners don’t need to fear the famed Upington heat.
Regulations: This event will adhere to the rules of WA, ASA, and NWCA.
