Umhlatuze Athletic Club is excited to announce the 2025 edition of the uMhlathuze Crocs Marathon. Set in the vibrant town of Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, this event offers a range of race distances to cater to runners of all levels.
The event will be a comrades marathon qualifier. Registration details and location information is below.

- 42.2km Marathon: Starts at 05h30
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 06h00
- 10km Road Run: Starts at 06h30
- 5km Family Fun Run: Starts at 08h00
Entry Information
Entry Fees:
- 42.2km Marathon: R350
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: R250
- 10km Road Run: R160
- 5km Family Fun Run: R50
- Note: Temporary license fees may apply for those without permanent running license.
Registration Details:
- Online Entries: Close on Wednesday, 19 March 2025.
- In-Person Entries: Available at Addison Park on Friday, 21 March from 14h00 to 18h00.
- Late Entries: Subject to an additional R100 fee.
- Race Day Entries: Only available for the 5km Family Fun Run.

- Date and Time: Friday, 21 March 2025, from 14h00 to 18h00.
- Location: Addison Park, Empangeni.
Race Day Information
- Start and Finish: All races commence and conclude at Addison Park.
- Medals: Awarded to all participants who finish within the cut-off time.
- Hydration: Well-stocked water tables every 3km.
- Facilities:
- Secure parking.
- Tog bag facilities.
- Shower and toilet facilities.
- Medical Support: Medical personnel will be available on-site.
- Prize Giving: Will take place after the cut-off times.
