Sisonke Running Club proudly presents the 2025 edition of the Mapungubwe 4-in-1 Marathon. Join us for an exhilarating race day in Polokwane, offering distances to suit all runners.

Location: Polokwane Cricket Club, Polokwane, Limpopo.

Distances and Starting Times:

  • 42.2km Marathon: Starts at 06h00
  • 21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 06h00
  • 10km Race: Starts at 06h00
  • 5km Fun Run: Starts at 06h10

Entry Fees:

  • 42.2km Marathon: R300
  • 21.1km Half-Marathon: R220
  • 10km Race: R150
  • 5km Fun Run: R80
  • Note: Temporary license fees may apply.

Online Entries:

  • Online registration close on Monday, 3 February 2025.
  • Free T-shirt to the first 1,000 entries for the 42km, 21km, and 10km distances.

Manual Entries:

  • Open from 3 to 7 February 2025 at the Department of Sports, Arts & Culture.
  • Note: A R10 handling fee applies to manual entries.

  • Dates: 5th February to 7th February 2025
  • Times: 09h00 to 17h00
  • Note: No race numbers will be issued on the day of the race.

Additional Information:

  • Medals will be awarded to all finishers.
  • The marathon is a Comrades Qualifying race.
  • The event adheres to the rules of ASA and LIMA.
