Vodacom Kimberley Road Runners proudly presents the 2025 edition of the Meerkat Marathon. Join us for an exhilarating race day in Kimberley, offering distances to suit all runners.

Date: Saturday, 1 February 2025

Location: Bayagro, Landbou Rd, Kimberley, Northern Cape.

Distances and Starting Times:

42.2km Marathon: Starts at 05h30; cut-off at 11h30.
21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 05h30; cut-off at 09h30.
10km Run: Starts at 06h00; cut-off at 08h00.

Entry Fees:

42.2km Marathon: R280
21.1km Half-Marathon: R210
10km Run: R180

Note: Temporary license fees is R70 for those that do not have permanent license.

Online Entries:

Closing date for online registration is 28 January 2025.
Manual late entry is available at an additional R20 fee from 29 February 2025.

Venue: Kimberley Road Runners Bishops Club
Dates and Times:
- Wednesday, 29 January: 17h00 – 20h00
- Thursday, 30 January: 17h00 – 20h00
- Friday, 31 January: 17h00 – 20h00
Note: Number collection on race day is by prior arrangement only.

Starting and Finishing Point:

All races start and finish at Bayagro, Landbou Rd, Kimberley.

Hydration:

Water points available approximately every 3 km.

Timing:

Gun to mat timing will be used. Powered by Peak Timing®.

Medals:

Medals awarded to all finishers within the cut-off time.

Prize Giving:

10km & 21.1km Races: 10h00
42.2km Marathon: 11h00

Additional Information:

Headphones: The use of music players with headphones is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
Lucky Draws: Lucky draws will be held.
Regulations: The event adheres to the rules of Athletics South Africa (ASA) and Athletics Griqualand West (AGW).
