The Sasol Marathon Club is excited to announce the 2025 SASOL Secunda Marathon, offering a range of race distances to cater to all runners.

Date: Saturday, 15 February 2025
Location: Sasol Recreation Club, Nelson Mandela Drive, Secunda, Mpumalanga.
Distances and Starting Times:
- 42.2km Marathon: Starts at 06h00
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 06h00
- 10km Road Race: Starts at 06h00
- 4.5km Fun Run: Starts at 06h15
Entry Fees:
- 42.2km Marathon: R350
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: R220
- 10km Road Race: R140
- 4.5km Fun Run: R60
- Note: Temporary license fee is R60.
Entry Information:
- Online Entries: Available until Monday, 10 February 2025.
- In-Person Entries: At Sasol Recreation Club, Secunda:
- Thursday, 13 February: 14h00–19h00
- Friday, 14 February: 14h00–19h00
- Race Day Entries: Accepted from 04h00 to 05h30 on race day, with an additional R20 late entry fee.
- T-Shirts: Free T-shirts for the first 300 pre-entries in the 42.2km and 21.1km races.
- Note: No refunds or substitutions allowed.
Number Collection:
- Dates and Times: Same as in-person entry times above.
- Race Day: From 04h00 to 05h30.
Race Day Information:
- Start and Finish: All distances will start and finish at Sasol Recreation Club.
- Handouts: Medals to all finishers.
- Timing: Electronic timing will be used.
- Headphones: Use of music players with headphones is not allowed and may result in disqualification.
- Prize Giving: Scheduled as follows:
- 10km: 08h30
- 21.1km: 10h00
- 42.2km: 11h00
- Cut-off: 42.2km half-way cut-off at 2 hours 55 minutes.
- Regulations: This event will adhere to the rules of ASA and AMPU.
