The Zabalaza Athletic Club is excited to announce the 2025 Zabalaza Marathon, offering a range of race distances to cater to all runners.

Date: Sunday, 16 February 2025
Location: George Cato Primary School, School Rd & Drew Ln, Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal.
Distances and Starting Times:
- 42.2km Marathon: Starts at 05h15
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: Starts at 05h15
- 10km Race: Starts at 05h25
Entry Fees:
- 42.2km Marathon: R350
- 21.1km Half-Marathon: R250
- 10km Race: R200
- Note: Temporary license fees may apply.
Entry Information:
- In-Person Entries: Available at the venue on:
- Friday, 14 February: 10h00–16h00
- Saturday, 15 February: 10h00–16h00
- Note: No entries available on race day.
Number Collection:
- Dates and Times: Same as in-person entry times above.
- Race Day: From 04h30.
Race Day Information:
- Start and Finish: All distances will start and finish at George Cato Primary School.
- Handouts: Medals to all participants.
- T-Shirts: Awarded to the first 500 finishers.
- Cut-off: The 42.2km halfway cut-off is 3 hours. Runners failing to pass halfway by this time will be asked to leave the road.
- Prize Giving: Scheduled as follows:
- 10km & 21.1km: 09h30
- 42.2km: 11h00
- Regulations: This event will adhere to the rules of WA, ASA, and KZNA.
